About Strata Investments
Strata Investments is a real estate developer and investment firmspecializing in renovating and managing affordable housing units in Chicago, Illinois.
Strata was founded by native Chicagoans and we pride ourselves on our connection to the city and its neighborhoods. Our mission is to help our city stay thriving and prosperous, and we do this by acquiring vintage residential buildings in states of disrepair, performing comprehensive rehab work, then returning the units to the market at affordable rates for tenants participating in the Housing Choice Voucher Program (informally, 'Section 8').
We partner with private investors to fund the acquisition and rehab of our properties, and our investors are repaid from the revenue and long-term financing generated by these properties.
